The National Advisory Board Turns 50!

The National Advisory Board (NAB) celebrated 50 years of service within The Salvation Army in October 2025. Beginning in 1975, the NAB exists to support the national Salvation Army with counsel, networking and fundraising support. Prominent members of the NAB have included First Lady Laura Bush, Second Lady Marilyn Quayle, and Jerry Jones, owner and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys. Today, the NAB continues to be vital to achieving the mission of The Salvation Army in the USA.

In 2023, the NAB meets in Puerto Rico, featuring local entertainers.
